Simone,

For enhancements that aren't designed generic or being implemented with
short-term
goal it is better be done without touching core (as extensions).

You can have it adopted, discussed and grow it to stability by creating a
project on code.vtiger.com
If its ready to use - make it available via marketplace.  Stay committed to
push regular updates.

We have had issue accepting changes to core which were not complete
in implementation and core-team end up falling into trap of maintaining
and retaining further with mix-up design.

So we expect it run through good review cycle before being accepted.
