[Vtigercrm-developers] Workflow to update helpdesk ticket on close changing 'whodid' in modtracker for all other fields

I have a workflow to update 1 custom field on the ticket, and then trigger
2 other actions - send an email and update related fields on the contact
(using VTExperts extension for this one). All the actions are working
properly, but on the ticket, it will assign the admin user as the user that
set the status to closed, and any other field updates when editing the
ticket.

I've tried different workflow triggers - on every save, until the first
time criteria are met - and I've change the Execute Task time to 1 day
later to see if that had any effect. None of them did.

Using vTiger 6.5
