yeah, there isn't one. You can make a native thing slow, you can make a 
web thing fast, there is no inherent reason why one should be 
dramatically faster than the other.

I don't really fancy having to test every custom module for supporting 
an iOS client in swift and an Android thing in java and an Ubuntu client 
in QML. Yes, you could write a native client that just talks the web 
services API to vtiger, but it is going to be a complete pain to build 
and maintain.
