Hello Andrew,

You can add emails to a related customer in two ways:

1.Entry gets added to the email related list as soon as the Record owner
sends a email to the contact.
2.Entry gets added to the email related list through mailconverter and
mailmanger.

Should the Reply button be available when the record entry is created
through 1st way.i.e,when the Record owner sends a email to the Contact.
??
 I feel it should not be available,
what are your thoughts on this??
