[Vtigercrm-developers] 6.1 - send email to contact

[Richard Hills - Technologywise]

When I choose to compose a mail to a contact I am greeted with the popup 
however no email is pre-populated. Instead I must then type the email 
address into the "to" field and it does a lookup.

This worries me, as we often will have a number of contacts with the 
same email address all connected to different accounts, obviously using 
the templates pulling data from the contact I need to ensure the correct 
contact is chosen.

Can someone confirm if this is a bug currently, or the expected 
functionality?
