Hi,
     You cannot add same email id many times. If you add also it won't 
take (it takes only once). and will send mail once for that email id. 
and sent time is at what time it sent from outgoing server. If you send 
same email to same person with different time then it will be added as 
related record for that contact with different sent time. This is not an 
issue.
If this is not a case what your explaining then please let us know!!
