[Vtigercrm-developers] Workflow: Update Fields from related entities?

Hi all,

The Workflow tool is getting better and better in vtiger but I have one 
request that has just come up for a new client we are starting with.

I can see the need to be able to populate custom fields with values 
derived from the module's related entities. For example:

In an Account Object it would be very useful to be able to update the 
value of custom field to shows a sum of a couple of other custom fields 
in all related Contacts.


We can almost certainly do this in the customisations we'll be doing for 
this project but it seemed like a generic feature that might be more 
useful in the workflow tool...

Thoughts?
