[Vtigercrm-developers] Quality vs. Features

Couldn't agree more with Dirk.

When basic, core, "101" features like showing the
correct version numbers on patches are slipping
through the cracks...How does one deploy a web based
CRM system, but rely on Outlook? That makes no sense
to me, from an IT perspective.

When relatively bright people (me) are spending DAYS
trying to migrate from Sugar...Almost a joke that
Richie is publicly wondering how to get more users
while it's like punishment trying to convert.

When the email client appears to be completely broken,
at least in my install...

Please "circle the wagons", and fix what's there
before introducing more (broken) features.

Personally, I am stuck on Sugar because I have inbound
and outbound email that works, and associates the
history to my Contacts correctly...my custom fields
are broken by one of the upgrades, but at least I have
basic functionality.

Here is a simplified version of the 3 month roadmap:

<Roadmap>
QUALITY
</Roadmap>

Wherever I am mistaken, I will stand for correction...

Regards,
Ken
