Interesting idea, but I am not sure it would be that popular. Most of my 
customers' vtiger systems are behind firewalls and/or only accessible 
via a VPN anyway.

Maybe a useful extension module might be integration with cloud sharing 
services, e.g. google drive, dropbox etc...
