[Vtigercrm-developers] accented characters encoding issues in workflow emails after migration to 7.2

Hi everyone,

After migrating from vtiger 7.1 to 7.2, workflow emails started to display
funny characters. Since the language I use is Spanish, you will find a lot
of words that have accents. I imagine the same kind of issues are happening
with French and other languages.

For example instead of "Descripción", the word"Descripción" is displayed.

The variable $default_charset in my config.inc.php file is 'UTF-8'.

I know the phpmailer library was upgraded in vtiger 7.2, so I wonder
whether that might be the cause.

 Does anybody have a clue about how to fix this?
