Al,

If there was one person I was hoping would answer my post, it was you!!

I can see you had previously asked and answered some insightful questions
and made some comments regarding the vtws_create, update & revise functions
and was hoping you would easily be able to provide a quick answer.

Your simple fix has indeed worked perfectly!!! Thank you very much.

With regards to your second thought about database queries...I had
previously created custom workflow functions using database queries - in
fact quite a lot of them - this has given me a fairly good insight into the
complete database structure and logic of vTiger.

However, the outcome of these database queries were never consistent. I had
written them and tested them in a development environment running on my PC
(localhost). They worked perfectly with all of my testing in a single user
environment.

When I went live, one function in particular when called via a workflow,
just caused the White Screen to appear and all the additional workflows and
vTiger processes just failed so the things I expected to happen didn't. I
have had to temporarily disable this functionality to try and find
alternatives.

This is what I am working through at the moment...

I know it is an additional question, but for the life of me I didn't know
why they would work one moment and then not work another. Also, when running
the actual queries that were generated in an SQL Query Builder (I use
dbForge Query Builder for MySQL) the queries completed and ran without a
problem.

Again, this was in a multi user environment (although it also started
happening in my localhost environment) with lots going on and my experience
is completely self taught, but I wasn't entirely sure if some caching
process was getting in the way.

Any further thoughts or ideas regarding this additional issue? I am more
than happy to find some way to send you the scripts so you get an idea of
what I was coding - it's nothing too complicated.

And thanks again for your help Al!!

Cheers, Paddy
