I've discovered that workflow(s) do not run if a ticket is updated via Mail
Converter. For example, if I create a new workflow-:

Module = Tickets
Every time the record is saved
Condition = Comment is added
Tasks > Update field > Status = 'Open'

If a comment is added to a ticket record manually the workflow runs fine. If
a comment is added by Mail Converter the workflow never runs. The
consequence of this is that when Mail Converter adds a comment to an
existing ticket there is no way to alert the vTiger users who manage the
tickets. The only way to determine if a client has responded is to examine
all open tickets!

Can anyone confirm they have come across this issue before? 

My interim solution adds code to
modules/Settings/MailConverter/handlers/MailScannerAction.php so that both
the modified time and status are updated when a ticket is updated via Mail
Converter.
