Words are cheap, and actions seem to be few and far between.

The fact that Adam does not get patches accepted (and other top devs as
well) speaks volumes in itself, and much more than words. I have seen
the same thing time and time again. I have seen the 'we are committed to
working with the community' and yet no action (hence Adams comments I am
sure) time and time again , I have seen frustrated devs time and time
again, and forum users completely exasperated at things time and time again.

I know devs who have spoken to me privately and said that they are fed
up with vTiger being almost a closed shop and never listened to. They
give up on doing any real work here, and just do what they want for
their clients. That's a whole chunk of good dev work that you are missing.

These people need encouragement, not the door slammed in their face.
They will just up sticks and leave, like so many others have done before.

What is the problem ???? Please don't say there isn't one, because if
someone of Adams calibre is frustrated, then there clearly is.

Don't get me wrong. I am not trying to 'bad mouth' vTiger. I just feel
that something is missing somewhere in the relationship between vTiger
and its community. It is a one way street.

I am just trying to get the vTiger team to open up to the community devs
and get them working with you because despite all the fine words, there
is just no action.

You will be much stronger united, than divided.
