[Vtigercrm-developers] Filter, Report on blank date fields

Customer has some custom date fields in various modules and wants to 
create filters and reports that check if a date field is empty or not.

The (javascript?) validation code doesn't allow this choice to be 
configured.

I have also tried setting the date field to 00-00-0000 as this is how 
blank date fields are stored in the db but this is also not allowed.
