[Vtigercrm-developers] New cron management in 5.4.0

Hi,

Is there any documentation about the new cron management in 5.4.0? I 
couldn't find anything on the wiki other than this bit: 
https://wiki.vtiger.com/index.php/Scheduler but this doesn't explain 
what (if anything) needs to be done on the server itself.

For example, on an existing system where I have multiple entries in 
root's crontab for sendreminder, workflows etc... What should I do with 
these now?

Some information on how to configure the underlying system would be helpful.
