Thank you for the replays. I have got the idea.

The adjustment here is a kind of correction possibility of the grand 
total (for some reason that does not necessarily fall into the discount 
category !)
All these viewpoint were very important for the finding the right 
Hungarian words. (There are more then ten possibilities to translate 
depending the environment of the word.)

It can be used for the adjustment of grand total e.g. plus adjustment 
amount X for the speed of service (or for the service on holidays), or 
minus adjustment amount Y for the loyalty or something else.
