[Vtigercrm-developers] How do I make the Event "Mark Public" checkbox default selected?

As above. When adding an Event to a Contact etc, or adding Event from 
the Calendar module, my customer would like the Mark Public checkbox 
next to the Event title selected by default.

I've looked through the vtiger_field table and found a few likely 
candidates for this but changing the "selected" field value from 0 to 1 
made no difference.

Any suggestions chaps?
