[Vtigercrm-developers] Merge contacts via webform in vtiger 8.3

Alexander, we have a module that solves that problem,

It's a contact form that checks for duplicates first. In case a lead exists
it just adds a comment in the existing record. In case a contact exists, it
creates a related opportunity:

(sorry, no english translation yet)

This other module helps you dealing with duplicates by prompting to first
fill out duplication sensitive fields:
