[Vtigercrm-developers] How to make reports with weekly data?

Hi there,

I'm trying to make a report with weekly data. Ie. how many deals are won
every week, etc., without building a custom function.

I can't 100% figure out how to group them by weeks, so my thought was to
make a new field called Weeknumber and then calculate the week number in
that via a workflow with an "update field" expression. I could accept just
having ie the amount of days gone this year and just divide with 7 for the
week number.

But can I actually access the days/months/year of a date field in the
expressions? I know there are several built-in date functions, but cant see
that any of these can solve this case.
