[Vtigercrm-developers] Trigger Workflow from Mail Converter?

A customer has a vtiger 7.0.1 system under development.

One thing they want to do is when Mail converter picks up a new email 
for an existing Contact/Organisation or whatever, and attaches it, they 
would like the Assigned user to be notified that this has happened.

I can't see how I can do this? Is there an Event Handler I could use 
instead?
