[Vtigercrm-developers] Vtiger 7 Upgrade - Popups Freezing Browser

Hi Everyone,

Today I upgraded our vTiger install from 6.5 to 7.0.1. The upgrade 
seemed to go fine and I was able to log in immediately. But, after 
login, no matter what user account I log in as, I get popup windows from 
Vtiger on the right side of the browser window that say:

I get a full screen of them (about 10) running down the right side of 
the Vtiger window like you'd get calendar reminders in 6.5.

But, I am not able to check the "x" to dismiss them and instead my 
browser tab locks up and I must close the tab. If I open a new tab and 
go in to Vtiger, it is fine until the popups come back, then it locks up 
again.

At that point the memory of usage of the browser skyrockets (2-3 GB) and 
never comes down.  Closing the Vtiger tab fixes that, but of course that 
means I can't use Vtiger :)

I've looked in the Vtiger tables for a group of mass notifications that 
might be causing this, but that does not seem to be the case.  I am just 
not sure where these popups are coming from and how to stop them 
(assuming that is the root cause)

Has anyone seen this or have any ideas on how to overcome it?
