[Vtigercrm-developers] modify $Comment

Hy,

Workflow Designer use very less of Core defined. ;)
The new task is online and could be used also in your version. But you need
to have at least version 600.1410 of Workflow Designer. I think you have.

Go to "Task Management" in the Workflow Designer Sidebar and click "Update
Repository. Then a task "format comments" should be listed. Install this
task.
Now you could add an action/block "*style record comments*", which allow
you to configure, from which record ID comments should be loaded (Default
current record), sort order of comments, how much comments you want output,
if only from MailScanner or also Internal one and a Template, which will be
applied to the comment. my standard one is preconfigured. (Please be sure
to configure the template with HTML tags if you want to send it by mail.)

The Output is stored within an Environment Variable, you configure, and
could access in any other task, like the send mail. Only use
*$env["..<configuredID>.."]*
