Hi,

Setting up outgoing server with credentials provided by you is leading to error as shown in attached screen-shot, Didn't you face any issue regarding this.

Hi,

Sorry! for early response.


I tried with the above value's  but I couldn't  able to configure the Outgoing server itself.

We should now  whether the  outgoing server is working fine with "Work flow emails" in customer instance  or does  the user is facing the issue only with the  forgot password. It help us to trac the issue.

Hi,

From the given attachment we can find that you had made use of wrong server protocol, port and user_name. It should be as follows.


syntax  :  Protocol://SMTP server:port
Ex: ssl://smtp.gmail.com:465



server_username should be an email_id you had made use of integer, which is not supported.

We are not able to reproduce this issue in latest vtiger 6.2 instance, Can you please do a check against "vtiger_systems" table to make a check whether outgoing server details are saved here
