Up till yesterday I had vtiger 6.1 and I could customize the record
numbering for modules. This morning I installed vtiger 6.2 on a new
installation (so to keep them both while testing the new release), but I
cannot change the numbering on the new release:
I go to crm settings > customize record numbering
I enter the new prefix and number for the chosen module (say, LEADS, I
change prefix from LEA to CUS and number from the current 5 to 1)
Then I hit the save button.. the page reloads but no message appears to
tell if saving was successfull or failed, and after the page have reloaded,
the fields show their default value (so again LEA for prefix and 5 for
number) as it didn't save my settings. In fact, if I add a new lead, the
number is saved with default prefix and number (so LEA and 5)
I also have another issue that maybe can be related to this one: everytime
I save a new record, a popup appears to inform me that leaving the page can
cause some loss of data, it gives the choise to stay in the page or to
abandon it. If I abandon the page, the new record is saved correctly.
Can this popup be related to the fact the customize record numbering is not
saving at all?
How can I solve this?
Thanks
