[Vtigercrm-developers] Dear Blazej

So why not sign up to the yeti mailing list? You can be on both lists.

Blazej’s posts have been welcomed, but be honest the only reason he is doing it is for advertising. His complaints and antics are nothing more than self-promotion.

For me it is a very negative approach. It doesn’t impress me at all and makes me think negatively about his approach. I cannot afford to invest time and money into a developer who shows a lack of maturity.

As you may have noted from my other posts I don’t necessarily agree with the way the vtiger devs are handling the release cycle of vtiger. But I also don’t think straight out attacks are going to help.

I also would like to see here his posts. Its is good way for vtiger developer and others to learn about different and more complex solutions so they can source ideas. I think we should be grateful to Blazej. Please note that he not removing information of where yetiforce coming from (see footer of his fork) in the same time SugarCRM is erased from vtiger ...

Then sign up to yeti’s mailing list. It’s the proper thing to do.

It’s a sign of the openness of the vtiger devs that this barrage of insults has been allowed to go on. It is distracting and does not assist in any way.

As a user of vtiger I am glad to see you have created a fork. Another potential solution to our problems. I am reviewing your fork.

But please keep this in mind. In a few months or maybe a year or so If your product still exists it will be very different from vtiger.

So why are you spamming the vtiger forum with your personal gripes? Why are you letting emotion get the better of you. I understand your frustration.

I have often thought I would like to fork this project and get it on the right track. But common sense tells me I am better trying to work with the vtiger devs and help them create a better product.

Please start your own mailing list. Once you have done so I am sure many people will contribute to your product. Until then please respect the vtiger team. It is their product after all and they can do what they like with it.

Chris
