Vtiger CRM provides access control capabilities like... Sharing Access,
Profile Access.

Administrator of the CRM will configure it based on their business needs
and wish to
control the access to each user based on role hierarchy / profile
permissions.

While developing extension (module) for Vtiger CRM it is absolutely
necessary that such
access control is not by-passed which otherwise can let a user gain access
to data that he/she was not suppose to view.

We recommend the use of Server APIs when the module intend to work with
records
which takes away the pain of such access control handling.
