[Vtigercrm-developers] vtiger 6.0 basic search does not work

When searching on invoices for an invoice number the search does not work and returns no entries for a known invoice number

According to the wiki you are supposed to select a filter that has the fields you want (why?) and then enter a search term

If you search for an invoice number no results are returned (advanced search does work).

Stepping through the code the only field that appears to be searched is the crmentity label column.

It renders the search close to useless and certainly misleading. Has this been corrected in 6.1?
