[Vtigercrm-developers] VTiger 6 migrate hosting

Yes, right now I got a clean vtiger 6 install with no data.

I restored my old database, but that didn’t work.

I wonder what the best practice for server migration is?

If you have only this in log file, this mean, you have wrong data to database (vtiger dont connect with database) if he connect correct, then you see query to user table.

Change permission on file (set read), vtiger default set 222 (only save). But you must be fast :P if someone refresh vtiger then vtiger set again 222 and you dont download file.

I got a file vtigercrm.log

But I am unable to open it.

FTP client doenst allow me to download

any tricks?

You must set:

log4php.rootLogger=DEBUG,A1

in file: log4php.properties

Thanks for your fast response.

The $site_URL is set correct and so is the $root_directory.

If I am correct I have to enable logging in the config.performance.php file?

// Enable log4php debugging only if requried

When I open the login page (which gives me a blank page), nothing is written in the logfiles.

You set wrong $site_URL or $root_directory and please enable vtiger logs (send on vtiger list but before send please delete all private data from log)..

Hi,

I have recently moved my Vtiger 6 install from hosting x to hosting y.
Copied all vtiger files to the hosting y.
Backup up and restored the database on hosting y.

Changed the config.inc.php and set the correct database connection.
Changed the root directory path to the new one.

When I access the vtiger install I get a blank page instead of the login
screen.
What am I missing?
