I am agree with you,

Business is business. It is normal to offer in $ version more modules (even
if it is possible to earn money differently thanks to a Marketplace - like
Prestashop).
There are a lot of ways to earn money with Open Source solution, but the
first point is to federate the community.

And I am agree that a lot of people use this mailing list only to speak
about problems but almost never to give concrete solutions to improve the
system.

I like very much Vtiger 6.0.0. It is a very good solution and I hope I
would be able to contribute again with other Open Source modules.
But I think it is not good for the brand image to not fix bugs already
fixed in the $ version.
