[Vtigercrm-developers] Issue with posting text into a field

I have tried using the URL field type and also text 255 field but when I post
this kind of text string:

https://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It fails and never saves what was pasted. It worked in 5.4 but using latest
6.1GA
