Nope.

As far as TB is concerned each IMAP account is totally independent. I 
have mails for work (.libertus.co.uk, .theopenlearningcentre.com, 
.arrowtees.com) gmail, isp accounts. All have different names and 
passwords etc. But you only need to have one SMTP server.



As long as a vtiger user has configured their IMAP account in Mail 
Manager then when that user sends an email from vtiger it should be 
pretty simple to just save a copy of that email into *their* IMAP sent 
folder.

If they don't have a valid mail manager configureation then don't bother.

As it is now, and has been for years, that sending a copy, via SMTP, to 
the user's account so they get it in their Inbox is just plain wrong...

I can't think of any email clients, desktop or web-based, that don't do 
the right thing... Except vtiger of course ;-)
