I can't reveal my use case here, but I can simply explain the things,

This is a help desk system for that bank.
That bank having several departments
1.IT
2.ATM
3.eBanking etc

I have created roles for each and every department,

when IT department supervisor creating a ticket he need to select IT
related issues from drop down, like that when ATM department supervisor
creating a ticket he need to select only ATM related issues. (I also use
picklist dependency here)
For those time I've use role base pick list values.
