[Vtigercrm-developers] vTiger on windows 7 having issues openning documents.

We use vTiger 5.3.0
It is installed on a Windows 7 computer, and we are adding documents to it without any issues.
But we are unable to open any document with an extension .doc, docx, xls, jpg,mdi, mht, et.
It only opens pdf documents.
But we could go to the storage folder and open them just fine. We have tried different browsers, disabling antivirus, removing protections, etc.
What should we be looking for to fix it?

But, we can open the same document from same computer, by selecting it from the storage folder:

The following message appears when trying to open images,  but once again: it opens fine from the storage folder.
