Instead of updating the source - you will need to rebuild the migration
patch and migrate.
Check migration patch from 540 to
600RC<http://sourceforge.net/projects/vtigercrm/files/vtiger%20CRM%206.0%20RC/Core%20Product/vtigercrm-540-600rc-patch.zip/download>
