[Vtigercrm-developers] Right uitype/displaytype for field formula?

Sorry for my poor reading comprehension on displaytype.

Instead of using vtiger_field.uitype to make things readonly, why not set
vtiger_profile2field.readonly?  I'm fairly certain that
vtiger_field.readonly and vtiger_def_org_field.readonly are ignored [2] *et
al*.
