[Vtigercrm-developers] Add new activities

Hi all,

I'm using vTigerCRM 5.4 and I need to implement a new type of activity (the
same way that we have Send Mail and Send SMS on Contacts module).

I need create the activity "Voice Message" and I want to track all
activities for each Contacts.

I started looking on this:
https://wiki.vtiger.com/index.php/AddActivityType but
I believe that for 5.4 version this does not fit, at least a lot of
reference on PHP does not apply.

Someone could give me some directions on how to accomplish this?
