[Vtigercrm-developers] Webforms Module

Alan,

Thank you for bringing up this question.

Standard Leads module does not have dependency on other module.

There seem to be a requirement of finding target parent record before
creating
record for module (Contact, Trouble Ticket...) which made us enable Webforms
for Leads to start.

*Summary of few design questions that were brought up:*

When we capture the Contact information from Webforms the question
of linking it with Organization come up. This wouldn't be a issue if
Contact - Organization relation is not mandatory or does not exists. But in
the other case there should some kind of case-to-handle issue.

The same holds with Trouble Tickets. When a user submits case on website
we need to determine the associated Contact / Account but how? using the
email provided? ...

We looking forward for break-through implementation / contribution that
would
enable us take the Webforms forward.
