[Vtigercrm-developers] Customer Portal 5.4.0 connecting server issue

I tried to setup *Customer Portal 5.4.0 in Vtiger 5.4.0*, I followed th
guide at
https://wiki.vtiger.com/archives/index.php/Vtiger_Customer_Portal_User_Guide#Installing_vtiger_Customer_Portal

The problem is that after filling in the Email ID and Password on the
Customer Portal 5.4.0 i get a message in the Red Text saying
Could not connect to server. Please contact the administrator.
I tried to debug adn see some error messages I got this
Error Message
XML error parsing SOAP payload on line 2: Invalid document end

What might be the problem ?
