[Vtigercrm-developers] Disable click to call

This may be a stupid question. But is there a way to disable click to call?
We have people configured to dial using google voice via a click in their
web browser.
After the upgrade to 5.3 clicks on the phone number link now force a voip
call via astrix rather than being trapped by the browser.  I have poked
around a bit but can't find a way to disable the new behavior.
