[Vtigercrm-developers] Error Message vTiger 5.3.0 associated with ADODB

Hello All,

I'm a newbie to vTiger and the field entirely but I must say the CRM is what
sparked my interest and thank you to all the persistent developers for that
luxury.

I am facing a bit of a situation where I could use a bit of assistance.

I have a fresh install of vTigerCRM 5.3.0 on a Windows based machine and the
MYSQL/PHP are the only versions included.

I have used the 5.2.1 so I am familiar with most aspects of the foundation
of the CRM but with this new version, I have installed the extension vtDiner
Studio which would be a perfect addition for our Technical Support Call
Center operations and vTiger future build outs.

When I chose the Related To function from inside the Accounts module I
receive this error:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in C:\Program
Files\vtigercrm-5.3.0\apache\htdocs\vtigerCRM\adodb\adodb-datadict.inc.php o
n line 357

I know that the reason for this is that it's not finding the array that the
command called for but for life of me, I cannot figure where the root of the
error lies. Whether it's in the relation dziner or maybe somewhere in the
modules\vtiger\settings.php that were overridden to include the vTigress
code that was added.

If I could just some ideas on where the best place to start would be and
narrow down the possibilities I would be eternally grateful.

You're right. We didn't meant to be rude but it wasn't nice to chat in
Portuguese.
Anyway as i said before if there's someone else interested on Calendar
module, please contact me! I think there's not much about this issue on
foruns and email lists.

It won't happen again! Sorry!

I would find calendar customisation discussions interesting. Just because we
don't comment doesn't mean we wouldn't like to read about it ;-)

It will also form a historical reference so that anyone coming here in the
future may find/learn from the experience you have.

Thanks

Al

I'm trying to implement some modifications on calendar but it doesn't work
yet. Nicolas explained me something he changed on calendar and i'll try to
follow the same to make mine.

I'll use javascript to hide specific fields on smarty files related to
calendar. I can't post any code now because i've just started working on
it. Later i can post some results.

Alan, you said about historical reference. Were can i find it? I don't have
access to older emails of the list and i think they would be helpfull for
me.

Thank you!

Ok Alan, so we'll finish our discussion and I'll transcribe it here later
just for record.

Cheers

Nicolas
