[Vtigercrm-developers] Account name not saving problem.

This is just weird...

On our own vtiger 5.4.0 system - that has been with us since 5.0.4 and 
maybe before - I have just noticed this and can't see where the problem 
is (nothing in the logs).

* I converted a Lead.
* It created my Contact and an Account (didn't need an Opportunity).
* The Account name field is empty :-(
* If I open the Account in DetailView (by manually entering the id in 
the url) the Contact shows in the related list.
* In the Contact record, the Organisation field is empty (even though 
the relationship is there) because the Organisation has no name.

* If I create a new organisation when I save it, the account is saved 
but the Organisation Name field is blank after the save (but I can't 
save unless I put some text in it).

* If I examine the vtiger_account table, the past 6 or so accounts I 
have created (usually by Lead conversion) do not have anything in the 
accountname field...

I turned on logging and created a new account. In the log I can see the 
name of the account passing through. But once it has finished and I am 
sent back to the DetailView page  the accountname field is empty.

Anyone got any bright ideas?

PS - System is running on Ubuntu server 10.04 and everything else seems 
to work fine.
PPS - As far as I am aware, this is clean, i.e. unpatched 5.4.0 system.
