[Vtigercrm-developers] Getting realtime data from other applications into vtiger

Hellos,

I am creating a new custom module  for some project. The module is to get
data from different applications(in realtime), as well through the vtiger
web interface. Is it possible to achieve this through vtiger soap interface
or should I just insert and update the data directly into the mysql
database.

Is there a document on vtigers soap interface?
