[Vtigercrm-developers] Vendors and Accounts

Hi All,

Can someone please explain the difference between Vendors and Accounts. If
Contacts of Vendors are coming from the list of general contacts why don't
we use Accounts as Vendors/Suppliers as well.

Yes it will mean that customers and suppliers are in the same list but it
can be managed by using a simple option in an account's page (Supplier -
Yes/no). If Supplier is set this account will be available in Products'
Vendor Drop Down list.

Any suggestions?
