There is a module manager where it is easy to add fields.

Having previously been playing with Sugar, I'm quite excited what vtiger
appears to offer. Before I jump in at the deep end with my customizations, I
wanted to check that there isn't a GUI way of adding new fields to an
existing module (as you can with Sugar), but that we currently have to
resort to SQL insert queries?
