[Vtigercrm-developers] Connecting to vtiger

Hi,

I am planning to create a link between another application and vtiger in order to allow people to view and add tickets in a similar way as the customer portal. 

Because these users will not be actual vtiger users but will be in the contacts module is it advisable to use the webservices for this by creating a special user just to allow the application to connect to vtiger. I can control what the users can see by using the entitiy id to link them to their tickets.

I hope this makes sense.
