[Vtigercrm-developers] Adding a custom field to the quote | products table

Can someone point me in the right direction.  I want to add a date
field to the product records for quotes/invoices.  I know how to add a
regular custom field.  I'm a little unsure about this though.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
