I just wanted to toss in my 2 cents here too.

A way to disable, or set the stock quantity to unlimited would be great. 
Our company provides mainly services, and I have been setting all the 
stock counts to 9999 for now, to get around the issues. Knowing how many 
hours of service I sell is handy but I can get that information other ways.
