[Vtigercrm-developers] please a decent module howto

hi
i managed to create my own fields type including a textbox wich validate a
credit card i asked where i can upload it and i didnt gent any answer.
but i cant make my own module please any good pdf or any think that i can
read to learn.
i want to colaborate with the project but i havent any info.
