Hi Scott,

Have you tried changing the letter or leaving the corresponding string
empty?

In include/language/en_us.lang.php (or whatever language specific file
you use) look for the string:

'LBL_DELETE_BUTTON_KEY' => 'D',

and change the D to something else or leave empty.
I haven't tried this personally and I don't know if you will have to
look for the string in other files but it seems like a logical way to
proceed.
