[Vtigercrm-developers] LDAP

Hello,

I need some help setting up vtiger with LDAP as user backend. 

Which release is recommended for an LDAP setup ?
Why is only half of the patch in version 5.0 ?
Where can I find documentation about this ?
Has anyone a working LDAP setup ?

I managed to get the required files, but when login in, I get:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object
in /.../vtiger/include/database/PearDatabase.php on
line 530
